You can rent them now … What the hell makes you think you could not rent in the future? And yes, we're talking "Yacht" and I mean … Links below the source (second link even gives prices). Now that I said that, let me expand … Most of the "very-very good" yachts that are available to rent – never, never see or hear that is "For Rent". Why? because in one of these exclusive "World" with this proprietary and customers – not the owner want anyone to know the yacht on rent – and customers do not know anyone that is a holiday … For these babies, you have to be inside that world and you never know exactly who is renting and who is not. Luxury Yacht Charter is simply renting a luxury yacht. It might be a luxury motor boat or a charter sailing yachts, but either way charter is what is considered a luxury yacht. Luxury by definition has to be a yacht from the top of the market.
Luxury yacht is actually a term general covering a wide range of boats no real standard for what is luxury and what is not. If luxury is relative to the costs of its size, then the construction of the world's most luxurious yachts are the largest owned by some of the richest people in the world. After World War II, a luxury motor yacht famous Christina appeared when the board became a Canadian frigate.
Early luxury sailing yachts were those classified as Class J and used to compete in the America's Cup sailing competition. One of the most famous was the owned clover tea magnate Sir Thomas Lipton, and only a few ever built. They were owned by rich people who lived a luxurious lifestyle in or out of the vessel.
In the past thirty years has been a large increase in the large luxury yachts owned by the oil sheikhs and wealthy landowners of new technology businesses such as Bill Gates. Having said that luxury does not have to be large, a rich stock broker would be just what you need, and much it. These boats are the same hotel or car, you pay what you can afford and get what you pay. You can have as much fun cheaper to rent a yacht without the amenities of a luxury to be, but will not be spoiled so much.
Some yachts are used exclusively by its owners and guests, others work in throughout the year with two crew members of a mega yacht with twenty crew members. However one thing is common in all ranks of the yachts, the rate of day trips is only the beginning of their expenses. Extras about 25-30%, as fuel, drinks, food and additional berthing rates at the rate of day as well as a custom tip 15-20% of the crew of a good service.
The luxury yacht charter industry works effectively because private yacht owners and boat owners offset their costs with charter income as well as keeping their yachts in good condition and very open to such income. By contrast, yacht charterers their boats when necessary, since it is less expensive than owning and maintaining a yacht and of equal importance given the option of choosing different boats in different parts of the world.
