Whitewater Rafting On American Rivers
Summer offers all of us the many possibilities of getting back to nature and enjoying its magnificent beauty and wilderness. It is the time to indulge in all kinds of different sports in nature such as hiking, kayaking, rafting and camping in the wild; sports that are restricted in the cold winter months.

Whitewater rafting on American rivers is unpredictable depending on the weather on the particular day and the rapids of the river that you visit.
Riverbeds change constantly, due to which one cannot appreciate precisely the depth or speed of the currents at any given time. Let’s Talk about Keyword Density
Recently, I received an email question wanting to know about keyword density, asking questions like how do I deal with it, is it still a factor, and how important is it. As with most things in SEO, the answer is … it depends… Sherman, set the Wayback Machine to the Interwebz circa 2001 … Page rank was the big magilla in the ranking algorithm. It didn’t matter how crappy your website was–with …
Whitewater rafting while pregnant?
I’m trying to plan a WWR trip for the end of August. I’m in my 2ww right now, which means if pregnant (HOPE, HOPE!) I will be roughly 4 weeks (or actually 6; they go by the last period, right?) by that time.
I’ve been WWR more than a few times. We’d be going with an experienced guide. It is a class IV – V in some spots (basically, three tough rapids; the rest are II – III).
I’d love to go, but don’t know the limitations on pregnancy. I can’t find anything on the website, either. And I know if I were further along, I wouldn’t do it. It’s just….grrr! What are your thoughts? I don’t want to risk the pregnancy for a day of fun, but would love to go on this trip with my family.
That’s the other issue…we’re not telling the family we’re trying. If I am pregnant and cannot go, I’d have to find some plausible excuse. Not worried, I’m sure I can think of something. But that weighs in my mind, too.
This actually came up for me as an issue at both 8 weeks and at 20 weeks.
My doctor told me that it was fine at 8 weeks because the baby is well-protected and protected by the pelvic bone, etc. The risk of miscarriage is high in early pregnancy (15-20 percent if you have a confirmed pregnancy), but the causes of miscarriage at that time are overwhelmingly linked to genetic problems and cannot be prevented.
My doctor told me no at 20 weeks because my uterus was more exposed (popped over the pelvic bone), my balance was more likely to be off, and there were additional risks.
A lot of people will make you feel bad by suggesting that you are being selfish by not wrapping yourself in plastic wrap, but take all of that in stride. Some people are less risk tolerant than others.
I would move forward with the plans and, if you find that you are pregnant (good luck!), ask your doctor, and ask yourself and then decide whether to cancel. You can always find an excuse- blaming work is a good one with family.
